Stock can be held in any of ten locations, plus a special location called quarantine stock. This location is for stock that may or may not be usable.
Stock is moved into quarantine using the option move into quarantine and put back into stock using the option move from quarantine.
Many system options and reports allow you to include or ignore quarantine stock.
