Herschel stores its data in industry-standard DBF files.


The simplest way to get to the data in your files is to make a copy and then open the copy in Excel.


Don't try and change your Herschel data using Excel!  Sometimes it will work, but more often than not it will cause data corruption.


If you want to use a more sophisticated reporting tool such as Crystal Reports to analyse your Herschel data, you can do this by first installing the OLE DB driver using the setup file below.
