You may find many of your assemblies are very similar, with perhaps just a few different components. When using the assembly tool you can use the import page to copy the components from one or more existing Herschel assemblies. This can greatly reduce the amount of data entry required:
If you sell modular products then you can create a library of sub-assemblies which you can quickly combine into complex assemblies.
You can also import a file of data from other software packages outside Herschel (such as a CAD system).
